I have always been conscious about what I feed my fur babies. For years I have made homemade treats for them so I knew exactly what was in them and was sure there were no additives, chemicals or unnecessary preservatives. Let’s face it if your pets are like mine the treats don't last long anyway! In 2017 The Lucky Dog Deli was born!

In Summer 2020 we made the decision to stop baking our homemade treats due to legislation and increasing prices in testing and inspections, not to mention all you crazy lot lockdown baking and buying all the flour lol!. We have evolved our business who now specialises in air dried natural treats, following a journey with Storm my husky and a change in diet I saw the nutritional benefits of these treats and wanted to share them with my customers. 

I am very meticulous when it comes to choosing which treats I stock, of course they have to pass the crucial taste test from Storm and Trixie but I also ensure they are sourced responsibly from either British or European farms. 

The dog in the Lucky Dog Deli logo is my Border Collie, Trixie. It was taken when we went to visit her at the rescue centre before bringing her home so I guess she is the Lucky Dog!
